Funfest for Air Cooled VW 2020 Cancelled Due to Covid-19 Virus

With the continued efforts to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus within the US, the State of Illinois has extended the Shelter-in-Place order through the month of May. With no guarantee of further extensions and to act within state ordered guidelines for social gatherings as we know them today, we will be cancelling Volkswagen Funfest for 2020 but will be hosting a small get together instead.

Anyone who has registered as of today will receive a $25 gift card as refund for your registration. If you purchased a space in the Car Corral, or the Swap Meet area, or purchased a Slalom run, those will be refunded back to the original form of payment.

As we were looking forward to Volkswagen Funfest like so many of you, we will be on the grounds on Saturday June 13th as we are any other Saturday for normal operations. We invite you to join us for a VW Cars and Coffee for all Volkswagen models starting at 8am CT and will be free for all who wish to stop in. With the COVID-19 pandemic, we still have concerns like many of you. If you do not feel comfortable attending, it is entirely at your discretion. The event will be held entirely outdoors with more than enough space to safely maintain distance between everyone.

At this time, the State of Illinois is still under the Shelter-in-Place order until May 30th. Please watch our Facebook page at for more information as any changes in the state regulations for June would affect us.
